Two years ago when Barrack Obama started to become a serious presidential candidate, I noticed something, something not many others wanted to notice or admit at the time. I sat there and watched, I watched as a bright young politician gave inspirational speeches of hope and change. He promised to fix a country that had been broken by wars and economic recession, he filled stadiums with young men and women who had never been interested in politics before. He brought to them a message of being equal and helping our fellow man, he promised to make America great again, regain respect that we had lost throughout the world.
Obama seems like the perfect politician, someone who really understands the plight of the American people, but what many people didn’t realize is that we’ve seen this candidate before.
Germany, 1932, a bright young man starts his bid for the presidency. He brought to the German people a message of hope and change, he promises to restore Germany to greatness after it has been ravaged by war and economic troubles. Young people find his message inspirational and appealing, and become a major factor in his campaign. He too promised to bring Germany the respect that it once had throughout the world. That man was Adolf Hitler.
Now I know what your thinking, big deal you could say that about almost any politician, but those are just some of the simple similarities.
Obama and his socialist democratic party have made it known that they plan on punishing the rich by taxing them harder. They are also scrambling to vote in a universal healthcare bill that will result in the rich paying for the poor. More and more the government is asking for our money, and raising taxes.
Hitler and his Nazi party made it clear that they didn’t like capitalism. This is one reason they despised the jews so much, they hated their ” jewish-capitalism”. Hitler believed that the peoples money should always go back to the State
Hitler and the Nazi party ran a totalitarian regime, they controlled every aspect of the country. Hospitals, banks, and the media were all under Hitlers control.
After numerous bailouts from Obama and the socialist democratic party, the government now owns many banks, and auto industries. They have the majority of the media in their back pocket, CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, and Washington Post just to name a few. To top it off we are on the verge of passing a healthcare bill that will allow the government to control every aspect of the healthcare industry as well.
The major thing that people will say about this comparison is that Hitler murdered millions of people, Obama would never do that. Well you’re sorta right, he might never commit genocide such as Hitler did with the jews, but what about this healthcare bill. Its become well known that this bill will not favor the elderly or the sick, Obama has even said himself that doctors will evaluate an elderly persons health and determine if the expensive surgery is really the best option or if they should just take some pain pills and go on home. Why should that decision be made by the government or anyone else besides the patient? Its the patients right to decide if they want to pay for the surgery, especially if it will increase their life expectancy.
While Hitler tried to wipe out the jews, Obama and his party are on the verge of trying to wipe out the elderly and sick.
For those of you who think this might sound extremely and ridiculous, and think that this could never happen here, what do you think they thought in Germany? Obama may never become as bad as Hitler, but if his socialist policies take hold in this country, then this might just be the beginning. We might be opening the door just like Germany and extending the invitation for something worse.
